Give Financially.   All trips and salaries are 100% support-based.   Breanna’s House of Joy orphanage is also run on the donations of others.  If you would like to contribute to a Destined Traveler staff, to a trip participant, to the general needs of the foundation, or to the orphanage itself,  you can mail a check to the below address stating where you would like your donation to be used in the memo line.  New Horizons Foundation is the nonprofit foundation that is the parent foundation for Joy to the World Foundation, and New Horizons handles all the accounting for Joy to the World, along with several other Christian ministries, as well.  All checks can be mailed to the following address and are tax-deductible.  

If you would like to give online, you can visit the listed link below and scroll through the options until you reach the operating project entitled, “Joy to the World Thailand.”  You can set up monthly drafts automatically, if you would like to give on a regular basis, by completing and returning a card they will mail you after your first donation.

Pray.  Pray for the girls at Breanna’s House.  Pray for the Destined Traveler staff.  Pray for the teams that visit.  Pray for the Thai and Burmese staff who care for the girls and work with national pastors and refugees.  Pray for the country of Thailand to be softened to the gospel of  Christ.  Pray for wisdom and protection and favor to be poured out on this ministry. 

Talk, Talk, Talk.  One of the best ways to practically help this ministry is to pass our story along to those you know.  On your Facebook page, with your blog, at your church, with your friends, share our story with those in your circle of influence and direct them to this website to read more.  Also, if you know a young adult who may be interested in the mentorship program in Thailand, direct them our way.

Hop on a Plane.  When you hold the hands of the girls, when you smell the aromas of the street, when you speak to a refugee who has been trafficked, you will not be left unchanged.   Though the plane ride is indeed long and brutal, we think you’ll be glad you made it.  We can host teams of adults or families, and will be hosting the mentorship program as well.  Come on over!  Email Matt at coloradoparkers@gmail.com with any inquiries.
