Destined Traveler, At a Glance

Launched originally in 2009, Destined Traveler is a Christian nonprofit organization that arranges and leads teams of volunteers to serve in Thailand. Our travel service has two differentiating factors, which perhaps make us unique from other missions organizations:

1. Our volunteer activities are specifically targeted to the prevention of human trafficking through education and awareness. While participants {especially those in our family trips} will have opportunity for other areas of ministry, the majority of our projects will focus on fighting modern day slavery in South East Asia.

2. Our focus is on learning and listening. With the understanding that all cultures and people have valuable lessons to teach, the undercurrent of our trips is a respectful one. Volunteers will be challenged to study the culture, t0 co-participate with the locals in projects, and to constantly take a posture of learning rather than teaching.
