Young Adult {18-24}

Perhaps our greatest focus at Destined Traveler is in providing missions trips for college-aged students. We have seen the power of using the international missions experience as a catalyst for spiritual and personal growth in a young adult’s life. With a heavy emphasis on mentorship, participants will be challenged with spiritual teaching, will be given time to pursue their own spiritual walks with Christ, and will engage in a variety of ministry and learning opportunities within the culture. While living in close community, students will taste various aspect of a missionary’s life while growing in their ability to relate cross-culturally. The main focus of ministry will be in promoting education about the dangers of human trafficking and AIDS in the villages of Northern and Central Thailand.

Currently, we have two mission trips scheduled for Young Adults, ages 18 through 24. While dates are tentative, we have a two month trip planned for June 5- August 1, 2011, and a slightly longer trip planned for the Fall of 2012, running September 1st through November 20th. Participants will be responsible for arranging and traveling from their host countries to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where the trip will officially begin.

Costs.  Costs include all activities, lodging, food, transportation, translator’s fees, tourists activities, donations to local ministries we work with, and tour guide fees. Costs does not include travel to and from your home country to Chiang Mai, Thailand. 

Summer Young Adult Team. June 5- August 1, 2012: {$2,600 USD}

Fall Young Adult Team.  September 1 – November 20, 2012: {3,600 USD}
